French football clubs prepare for Coupe de France 5th round

Several French football clubs are preparing for the 5th round of the Coupe de France.

Stade Évrannais is set to host US Saint-Grégoire on Sunday, October 11, 2026. This marks the club's first appearance in this round in fifteen years. The team features a highly cohesive group, with nine of the sixteen players having been licensed at Évran since their early years. Coach Vincent Lefeuvre described the match as a gala event, noting that while Saint-Grégoire is a strong R2 side, the match remains a significant opportunity for the squad.

In another matchup, Eloyes will travel to Vandoeuvre this Sunday at 3:00 PM. Seeking to regain momentum following a difficult start to their league season, Eloyes aims to use the cup competition to build confidence and extend their run in the tournament.
