French football clubs seek offensive reinforcements
French football clubs FC Nantes and AS Saint-Étienne are actively pursuing new signings to strengthen their squads for the upcoming season.
At FC Nantes, manager Michel Der Zakarian is reportedly requesting one or two offensive reinforcements. Following a difficult start to the season that left the club at the bottom of Ligue 2, Der Zakarian has implemented a 4-3-3 system. The club is specifically looking for players capable of playing on the flanks or in a central attacking role to improve their scoring capabilities.
Similarly, AS Saint-Étienne manager Eddie Cathro is pushing for the rapid acquisition of two new players. This includes a targeted pursuit of a Swiss attacker to bolster the team's offensive line. The club has already secured the signing of Slovenian midfielder Tamar Svetlin from Korona Kielce as part of its ongoing recruitment efforts.
