French game show champion Floris wins first mysterious star despite fever

Floris, a 26‑year‑old accountant from Charente, is the current "maître de midi" on the French television game show Les 12 coups de midi, hosted by Jean‑Luc Reichmann. On 21 July 2026 he uncovered his first "Étoile mystérieuse", identifying the singer Louane and raising his prize pool to more than €110,000.

The following day, 22 July 2026, Floris appeared on the set with a high fever. Reichmann noted his condition on‑air, and Floris confirmed he had a short night and fever. Despite feeling ill, he kept his composure, defended his title, and secured another victory, with the day's finalists also reaching the final round of the game. The episode highlighted his resilience and continued success on the long‑running midday quiz show.
