French Innovation Events Showcase AI, Sustainability and Business Collaboration

Capenergies is hosting its sixth edition of "Le Business est dans le Pré" on 3 September 2026 at the Château du Seuil in Aix‑en‑Provence. The one‑day gathering will feature thematic villages, keynotes and round‑tables on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital sovereignty, networks, energy and environmental transition, aiming to connect executives, SMEs, startups and institutional actors. Capenergies members receive a preferential fee of €36, which includes lunch, a cocktail dinner and access to all activities.

From 22 to 26 June 2026, Polytech Clermont organised a Hackathon‑Entrepreneurship event in partnership with Clermont Auvergne PÉPITE. Around 250 engineering students formed 30 teams to develop frugal, technology‑sovereign solutions in areas such as AI, circularity, sustainable agriculture and climate‑resilient infrastructure. Awarded projects included a biodegradable cheese‑based food film, an autonomous sleep ecosystem, protein‑rich legume candies, recycled‑textile insulation, a passive solar shading system and a smart meat‑freshness label.

Both events emphasise collaborative innovation, linking academia, industry and regional stakeholders to advance sustainable, technology‑driven business models in France.
