French ISPs RED and Bouygues adjust fibre broadband pricing
RED by SFR lowered the monthly fee for its Wi‑Fi 6 option to just €1 extra, bringing the RED Box Fibre package to €23.99 per month. The offer includes the SFR Box 8, up to 2 Gb/s download and 1 Gb/s upload speeds, Wi‑Fi 6 coverage, unlimited calls to fixed lines and other services, all without a contract commitment.
Bouygues Telecom, meanwhile, raised the price of its B&You Pure Fibre Plus plan to €27.99 per month. The tier provides fibre connectivity of up to 8 Gb/s downstream and 1 Gb/s upstream, together with a Bbox Wi‑Fi 7 XT router. The plan does not include fixed‑line telephony or television services. Both operators are tweaking their broadband packages as competition intensifies in the French market, balancing high‑speed connectivity with pricing adjustments.
