French July 14 Parade Highlights Cadets Zoé Jenkins and Adrien Guilloux

Zoé Jenkins, a trainee officer from Saint‑Martin, took part in the 30th anniversary of the July 14 military parade on the Champs‑Élysées. Her police academy was selected from eight schools, and she joined roughly 440 cadets who rehearsed for four hours before marching in the national ceremony.

Adrien Guilloux, a 21‑year‑old student from Clermont‑Ferrand attending the military health school in Lyon‑Bron, also marched in the parade. He described an intensive preparation schedule, including early‑morning drills, equipment checks and a brief visit to Paris before the event. The parade was attended by President Emmanuel Macron, 35 foreign heads of state, thousands of spectators and millions of television viewers.
