French-language education and study opportunities in Canada

French-language education in Canada extends well beyond Quebec, with a network of over 750 elementary and secondary schools serving approximately 185,000 students across 29 school boards. This educational continuum includes early childhood services, post-secondary institutions, and adult training. These schools serve a cultural mission, acting as community hubs that facilitate the transmission of Francophone language and identity.

In Quebec, international students can access various academic programs ranging from administration and engineering to health sciences. The province offers collaborative learning environments and opportunities for professional integration through internships and post-graduation work permits. To support recruitment, Québec International, in collaboration with Montréal International and Drummond économique, is organizing a recruitment mission in Paris on November 13 and 14, 2026, to showcase 47 different study programs.
