French military training aircraft makes emergency landing on road

A French Air and Space Force training aircraft, a Cirrus SR-20, performed an emergency landing on the RN 113 road near Salon-de-Provence on Monday morning. The aircraft, operating from Air Base 701, caught fire following the landing.

The crew, consisting of an instructor and a student pilot, managed to exit the aircraft before it ignited. Both military members sustained minor injuries and were treated by medical teams from the air base. Officials confirmed that the crew successfully avoided residential areas, and no third parties were injured during the incident.
