Moroccan-American rapper French Montana will headline the inaugural AFROTRAX festival series in South Africa in December 2026. The two-day event is organized by AFROTRAX in partnership with PLAYY. Music and is designed to celebrate African music, culture, and fashion.

The festival kicks off in Cape Town on Friday, 4 December 2026, at the Ostrich Farm. The lineup includes South African hip-hop artists such as Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, YoungstaCPT, 25K, and others. The following day, 5 December, the series moves to The Canvas in Johannesburg.

The Johannesburg lineup features artists including Blxckie, Kabza De Small, Lucasraps, and Teddy Tumi. Organizers stated that the platform aims to connect audiences with influential global artists while providing a broader celebration of African lifestyle through food, DJs, and hospitality offerings.
