French municipalities initiate voter roll updates for 2027 elections
Municipalities in France, including Pont-l’Eveque and Tarnos, are beginning the process of updating electoral rolls in preparation for the 2027 presidential elections.
Local authorities are conducting reviews to ensure accuracy, which includes the removal of voters who no longer reside in their respective communes. In Tarnos, voters identified as potentially ineligible due to a loss of connection to the municipality will receive registered mail to allow for remarks or corrections.
Citizens are encouraged to verify their information and report changes to civil status, such as marital names, or changes of address within the commune. New residents or those not yet registered can complete their registration online through official government services or in person at their local town hall.
