French Open 2026 Prize Money Rises to $71 Million as Eurosport Secures TV Coverage
The 2026 French Open at Stade Roland‑Garros will distribute a total prize purse of more than €71 million (about $71 million), a 9.5 % increase over the previous year. Winners of the men’s and women’s singles titles will each receive €2.8 million (≈$3.27 million), with a detailed payout schedule for all rounds and events, including doubles, mixed doubles, and wheelchair categories.
Broadcast rights for the tournament belong to the Discovery Group. Matches will be shown free‑to‑air on Eurosport 1 in France, with additional coverage on the pay‑TV channel Eurosport 2. All matches are also available live via the Discovery+ streaming platform, and the tournament continues to use human line judges, a unique feature among the Grand Slams.
