French padel courts: maintenance tips and LED lighting recommendations

Regular upkeep is essential for newly built padel courts to preserve playing quality, safety and reduce long‑term repair costs. Early inspections should verify that synthetic turf remains taut, free of bumps, and that sand infill is evenly distributed. Structural elements such as posts, mesh and glass panels must be checked for loose bolts, and any signs of corrosion should be addressed promptly. Ongoing care includes brushing the turf fibers to keep them upright and removing debris, which helps maintain bounce consistency and extends the court's lifespan.

Effective illumination is also critical for padel facilities that operate in early mornings or evenings. LED floodlights are recommended because they consume far less electricity than older halogen or discharge lamps, offer a lifespan of 50,000‑100,000 hours, and provide uniform, glare‑free light. Their instant‑on capability and low maintenance needs improve player visibility, reduce eye strain and enhance the overall image of the sports complex.
