French parents adopt AI for back-to-school organization

French parents are increasingly integrating artificial intelligence into their routines during the back-to-school season. According to a Kantar barometer, AI is being utilized as a practical tool to manage household logistics and budgets.

Approximately 49% of parents intend to use AI to compare prices and reduce school supply expenses, while 48% plan to use it to simplify administrative tasks. Additionally, 45% see it as a way to identify more sustainable or second-hand products.

In an educational context, 74% of parents with children aged 6 to 18 are open to using AI for schoolwork. However, they maintain strict boundaries: while 67% might use it to explain difficult concepts and 60% to create personalized exercises, parents generally refuse to let the technology make major decisions or simply provide ready-made answers for homework.
