France's AGIRC‑ARRCO pension supplement slated for modest 2027 increase

The AGIRC‑ARRCO supplementary pension scheme, which provides about 40 % of private‑sector retirees' total pension, will have its next point‑value adjustment applied on 1 November 2027. The exact revaluation rate has not been set; partners will decide in autumn 2026. Projections based on inflation forecasts, wage trends and the scheme’s short‑term surplus suggest a likely increase between 1.5 % and 2.5 %. Negotiations are carried out by employer organisations (MEDEF, CPME, U2P) and trade unions (CFDT, CGT, FO, CFE‑CGC, CFTC), with the value of the point moving from €1.4384 (1 Nov 2025) upward by the agreed percentage. Unlike the basic state pension, which is indexed on 1 January, the AGIRC‑ARRCO adjustment follows its own November calendar.
