French police search for missing 15-year-old Cassandra Merigot-Morel

French authorities have launched an appeal for witnesses following the disappearance of 15-year-old Cassandra Merigot-Morel. She has been missing since August 30, 2026, at approximately 3:26 p.m.

Reports suggest she may have traveled from Bourg-en-Bresse to Toulon via train on August 29, but her phone has since been turned off and no contact has been established. She is described as 1.58 m tall, weighing approximately 40 kg, with long brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black legging, a yellow t-shirt, a blue sequined sweater, and black Nike slides.
