French presidential cars to be exhibited at Elysee Palace

As part of the 43rd European Heritage Days on September 19–20, 2026, the Elysee Palace in France will host an exhibition showcasing the evolution of French presidential vehicles. The display will feature the modern electric DS N°7 Élysée, which recently joined the presidential fleet, alongside the historic Citroën DS 21 Pallas used by General Charles de Gaulle in the 1960s.

The DS N°7 Élysée is a highly modified version of the DS N°7 AWD Long Range, featuring a 25-centimeter wheelbase extension, full armor, and specialized hydropneumatic suspension. Its design includes national colors through a light mask capable of displaying blue, white, and red, as well as interior details like ash wood decor with a laser-etched Marianne motif.

In a separate event related to French automotive and sporting excellence, DS Automobiles is highlighting its partnership with SailGP Team France. To coincide with the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix in Geneva, the company has unveiled a unique DS N°4 design inspired by the F50 racing catamaran. The vehicle features Midnight Blue and Gold Metallic colors to reflect the team's identity.
