Paris FC defeats Marseille 3-2 behind Sinayoko hat-trick

Paris FC secured a significant 3-2 away victory against Olympique de Marseille at the Stade Vélodrome during the third matchday of Ligue 1. The standout performer was Malian forward Lassine Sinayoko, who scored a hat-trick, including a decisive 86th-minute penalty following a handball by CJ Egan-Riley.

The match saw Marseille respond to Paris FC's early lead through goals from Amine Gouiri, who scored twice. Despite the comeback, Paris FC maintained their momentum to climb to second place in the Ligue 1 standings. Marseille remains in tenth position.

Following the match, Marseille manager Bruno Genesio criticized his team's tactical errors and lack of balance, describing their performance in the closing stages as being like “an équipe de gamins” (a team of kids). Meanwhile, Paris FC midfielder Maxime Lopez, a former Marseille player, expressed satisfaction with the win, noting the difficulty of playing at the Vélodrome.
