French regional handball and basketball clubs report successful seasons at annual assemblies

The handball club Le Roc held its annual general assembly on 20 June at the Grange de Vabre. President Benoît Courtin highlighted a balanced budget of €700,000, retention of teams in national divisions, and a membership of 421 licencees, 35% of whom are women. Plans for the next cycle include completing recruitment for the senior squad and adding former French international Alain Portes as a volunteer.

The women's basketball club JSRBF in Riscle also convened its yearly meeting, where co‑president Olivier Fabères reviewed a strong season that featured an unbeaten championship run, a U15 title, and a promotion to pre‑regional level for the senior team. The club now serves 146 members across youth, senior, leisure, health, and adapted basketball programmes and announced a 3‑on‑3 tournament for 3 July.
