French regional rugby derbies see Bergerac and Laruns secure victories

In French regional rugby, several derby matches took place during the second round of competition. In the Fédérale 2 division, Bergerac secured a 31-14 victory over Belvès at the Gaston-Simounet stadium. Bergerac's performance was highlighted by three tries from Zebango, Castagnier, and Chevalier, alongside four penalties and two conversions by Serre.

In the Fédérale 3 division, Laruns defeated Arudy 32-25 in the Ossau valley derby. Despite a period of tension and disciplinary issues that saw multiple yellow cards, Laruns managed to secure the win with a late try following a lineout in the final minutes of the match.
