French regions host large-scale industrial tourism events

Regional initiatives in France are promoting economic and industrial tourism through large-scale open house events. In Brittany, more than 700 companies, artisans, and producers will open their doors from October 19 to November 1, 2026, as part of the Economic Tourism and Know-How Weeks. This initiative aims to showcase the region's economic dynamism across sectors such as agrifood, maritime technology, digital industries, and fine craftsmanship.

Similarly, in the Challans Gois community, the third edition of the “Visit our companies” event will take place from October 17 to 31, 2026. Eighteen local businesses will participate, including seven new additions, to present their professions to the public. The program also includes visits for students to promote apprenticeships and demystify various career paths. These regional efforts seek to strengthen brand images, foster local connections, and stimulate recruitment by highlighting specialized expertise.
