French Riviera tourism rolls out gamified trails and 2026 summer guide

The CCI Nice Côte d’Azur and the municipality of Antibes Juan‑les‑Pins are launching two immersive, gamified heritage routes – “Mythes & Légendes autour du Port Vauban” and “Juan‑les‑Pins, Années Folles & Art Deco autour du Port Gallice” – as part of the EU‑funded VIA PATRIMONIA ACT project. The initiative aims to make local heritage more accessible, promote sustainable tourism and drive visitors to nearby shops and services. The official launch is scheduled for 3 July 2026 in Antibes.

On 25 June 2026, the Office of Tourism Nice Côte d’Azur unveiled the bilingual (French‑English) 2026 Summer Guide, published by Nice‑Matin in partnership with Côte d’Azur France Tourisme. The guide, featuring 250 000 copies, lists beaches, villages, events, markets and family activities across the Côte d’Azur, and will be distributed through tourist offices, museums, airports and other high‑traffic venues. Both initiatives are intended to boost the region’s summer season and support the local economy.
