French rugby clubs undergo leadership and squad restructuring
Several French rugby clubs are undergoing significant structural changes ahead of the new season.
Aramits-Asasp is entering a rebuilding phase in Fédérale 2 following nine major departures. Under new coaches Thibault Larricq and Benoît Sagardoy, the club is managing a young squad with an average age of 24. President Thierry Bonne noted that the club will focus on local recruitment and training due to a limited budget.
In Puy-en-Velay, the club is experiencing a leadership transition as Gérard Roméas prepares to step down as co-president, handing over responsibilities to Yves Marchal. The club is also implementing new sporting directions and has recently inaugurated a new synthetic pitch at Stade Lafayette to support its various competitive levels.
