French Rugby Federation secures new sponsors and Adidas extension

The French Rugby Federation (FFR) has announced several commercial developments as the nation prepares for the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia. The federation secured five new sponsors—Louvre Hotels Group, Novo, Pierret, Unilever (including Dove, Axe, and Signal), and Au Bureau—with most contracts running through 2028 or 2029. Additionally, Adidas has extended its partnership as the official kit supplier for ten years, until 2036.

On the competitive front, former French captain and coach Philippe Saint-André identified France as one of the three favorites for the 2027 World Cup, alongside South Africa and New Zealand. Saint-André noted that the current generation, featuring key players such as Antoine Dupont and Thomas Ramos, is reaching peak maturity and possesses the necessary international experience to contend for the title.
