French rugby players Grégoire Arfeuil and Cyril Baille announce departures

Several professional rugby players in France have confirmed they will leave their current clubs at the end of the season.

Grégoire Arfeuil, a 21-year-old winger, officially announced via Instagram that he will depart Section Paloise after six years with the club. Arfeuil expressed that the decision was complex and emotional, noting that he has grown up within the organization.

Cyril Baille, a 33-year-old international left prop, will also leave his club, Stade toulousain, at the conclusion of the 2026-2027 season. Having spent his entire career with the club since 2009, Baille has accepted a two-season offer to join Aviron bayonnais in the Basque Country.
