French telecom operators waive setup fees and launch bundled fibre‑5G offers
Several French internet providers are eliminating or reimbursing installation charges for new broadband subscriptions. Sosh automatically removes the €39 fee for its Box offers when subscribed online. RED by SFR permanently waives the €39 fee for RED Box Fibre. Free allows a €49 fee to be claimed back on request if the fixed‑line number is ported. Bouygues Telecom offers free €48 fees on its Bbox Anniversaire and Bbox Ultym plans under specific conditions.
Orange introduced a combined Livebox Lite Fibre and 130 GB 5G mobile package priced at €46.98 per month. The bundle includes up to 1 Gbps download speed, a UHD TV decoder, unlimited calls in France and abroad, and a €49 installation fee waived for online sign‑up. Both initiatives aim to lower entry costs and simplify billing for consumers.
