French telecommunications providers update service offerings

Bouygues Telecom is offering a fiber internet and TV package for 27.99 € per month for the first year. The bundle includes fiber connections up to 1 Gb/s, Wi-Fi 6E, and over 180 TV channels. While the price increases to 34.99 € per month after 12 months, customers with eligible Bouygues Telecom mobile plans of 20 GB or more may maintain the lower rate through the BiG discount program.

Meanwhile, Free has announced that the legacy “Freebox TV” interface will soon be discontinued for users of the Freebox mini 4K player. Subscribers will be transitioned to the more modern “Free TV” interface, which offers cross-device compatibility with smart TVs, smartphones, and tablets. A specific end date for the legacy interface has not yet been provided.
