French towns Cergy and Orléans organize public viewing arenas for 2026 World Cup

The Les 3 Fontaines shopping centre in Cergy (Val‑d’Oise) opened a free outdoor “3F Arena” to broadcast the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches featuring the French national team. The arena, equipped with a giant screen, will show the France‑Senegal match on 16 June and the France‑Norway match on 26 June, and also offers seating, food stalls, a beverage bar, sports challenges, a video‑game tournament with Fnac, and other free activities.

In Orléans, the community tournament known as the Mondial d’Orléans, created by former player Jean‑François Opa, has grown to 24 teams. The final between Senegal and Turkey is scheduled for 7 June at the La Source stadium. The event, held on a synthetic pitch, attracts local fans, families and youth, aiming to provide a festive, grassroots football experience alongside the official World Cup.
