French towns receive recognition for floral landscaping

The municipality of Beuzeville has been awarded its third flower under the ‘Villes et Villages Fleuris’ label. This distinction recognizes the town's efforts to enhance its living environment and beautify the community. Mayor Thomas Elexhauser and the municipal council have scheduled a ceremony for November 10, 2026, to celebrate the achievement and honor participants in the local flowered houses competition.

In the Somme department, the town of Nesle is also pursuing floral recognition. Following a regional jury visit in July, the town is awaiting official results regarding its bid for a first flower. Additionally, the municipality recently held a ceremony to reward approximately thirty residents for their contributions to local greenery and floral displays through the town's flowered houses competition.
