French women's biathlon team begins training camp in Ramsau

The French women's biathlon team has arrived in Ramsau, Austria, for a ten-day training camp to prepare for the upcoming winter season. The camp includes athletes from both Group A, such as Lou Jeanmonnot and Julia Simon, and Group B.

Due to a lack of snow, the athletes are currently unable to ski on glaciers. Coach Cyril Burdet and team director Stéphane Bouthiaux noted that the team will instead utilize roller skis on the available 5 km track. The training focus is shifting from technical and aerobic work toward high-speed sessions as the competitive season approaches.

The camp is scheduled to continue until October 16. Following this period, some athletes will travel to Munich for the Loop One Festival, while others will participate in the Summer Tour of Arçon.
