Freshuelva appoints Mamen Mingorance Guisado as future manager

The Board of Directors of Freshuelva, the association of strawberry and soft fruit producers and exporters in Huelva, Spain, has appointed Mamen Mingorance Guisado as deputy manager. Mingorance, currently the organization’s technical director, is set to officially assume the role of manager in January 2027.

She will succeed Rafael Domínguez Guillén, who is retiring after 19 years leading the association. The appointment initiates a transition period designed to ensure an orderly handover and management continuity. Mingorance will become the first woman to lead Freshuelva since its establishment in 1983.

Freshuelva President José Antonio Martín praised Domínguez’s long-term commitment to the organization’s growth and noted that Mingorance possesses the necessary expertise and sector knowledge to lead the association into its next stage.
