Fresno mother of seven missing, later found dead, homicide probe continues

Alison Riley, who uses the legal name Tatiana McIntyre, vanished on August 4 after traveling to her ex‑boyfriend’s home in Fresno, California, to see their two children. Her rental Zipcar was later discovered abandoned at an orchard near McKinley and Academy Avenues, and her phone’s last signal was recorded at the ex‑boyfriend’s address around 1 p.m.

Fresno homicide detectives obtained a search warrant for the East Grove Avenue residence and have since shifted the case to a death investigation. Riley’s mother, Liberty Lopez, has been waiting at the scene since early morning, expressing fear of foul play. The investigation follows reports that the ex‑boyfriend had previously been accused of domestic violence, including choking Riley. Riley, a mother of seven, is now presumed dead, leaving her children orphaned; a GoFundMe campaign was launched to support the family.

The Fresno Police Department continues to lead the investigation, and authorities have not released further details about the suspect or the circumstances of Riley’s death.
