Frey prolongs demo releases for ANOMALITH and CRYMELIGHT games
On August 8, Japanese developer Frey announced that the Steam demo for its new survival‑TPS ANOMALITH, originally scheduled to end on August 9, will remain available indefinitely. The decision follows a response that exceeded expectations, with roughly 20,000 new wishlist entries and extensive player feedback. Frey also released a roadmap for the demo’s updates, including UI and control improvements in late August, a new high‑difficulty mode in late September, and a demo for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in early October.
The same announcement applied to the battle‑trial demo of the rogue‑like action title CRYMELIGHT, which will also continue beyond the August 9 deadline after many players requested a longer play period. While no indefinite timeline was given for CRYMELIGHT, the demo will stay live until further notice. Both titles are slated for full release on October 29 (ANOMALITH) and November 5 (CRYMELIGHT) for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
