Freyr Energy launches SiC solar inverters for residential rooftops

Freyr Energy has launched a new range of single-phase solar inverters designed for residential rooftop applications in India. Developed by Freyr Energy and manufactured by Zenergize, the products are available in 3 kW and 5 kW variants.

The inverters utilize silicon carbide (SiC) technology, achieving a maximum conversion efficiency of 97.8%. This technology is intended to maximize solar energy generation and reduce operational losses. The units feature Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to monitor system performance in real time via the Freyr Energy Solar App.

Additional technical specifications include IP65 protection, integrated safety mechanisms against short-circuits, overheating, and voltage spikes, and a dust-resistant design to support self-cleaning. The products hold MNRE approval and BIS certification and come with a 10-year warranty.
