Fribín to lead Binéfar festivities for 60th anniversary
The meat processing company Fribín has been selected to lead the upcoming festivities in Binéfar, Spain, in recognition of its 60th anniversary. Cristina Gallart, the president of Fribín, will deliver the official proclamation and launch the festivities on September 10 during the celebrations held in honor of the Santo Cristo de los Milagros.
Founded in 1967 as the Matadero General Frigorífico de Binéfar, the company originated from a group of local ranchers seeking to vertically integrate their production. Since then, it has evolved from a colonization union into a modern limited company. Today, Fribín is a major economic driver in the Huesca province and the Aragon region, employing approximately 1,000 people and reporting annual revenues of 480 million euros. The company maintains an international presence, exporting products produced in Binéfar to various parts of the world.
