Fricktaler Sakristanenverband hosts themed evenings in Eiken and Herznach

The Fricktaler Sakristanenverband recently held two themed community events in the Swiss regions of Eiken and Herznach.

In Eiken, the association hosted a pilgrimage evening featuring a musical opening with the hackbrett (hammered dulcimer) by Anja Mettler. Dr. Bernhard Lindner delivered a lecture on the history, statistics, and spiritual significance of pilgrimage, exploring various hiking routes and the social aspects of the practice.

In Herznach, the association organized a Baroque evening centered on the St. Nikolaus church. Dr. Linus Hüsser led a guided tour through the historic building, which dates back to the 12th century, detailing its architectural evolution and artistic features. The event concluded with a candle-light picnic.
