Fridayy releases third studio album ‘Tension’

Philadelphia artist Fridayy has released his third studio album, titled ‘Tension’, through Def Jam Recordings. The 12-track project explores themes of love, uncertainty, desire, and personal growth, blending contemporary R&B, hip-hop, and melodic songwriting.

The album features several high-profile guest appearances, including Fireboy DML, Giveon, Summer Walker, Don Toliver, and Maverick City Music. It concludes with the track “Death Do Us Part,” a collaboration with Mariah The Scientist.

Production for the project includes contributions from Fridayy, BongoByTheWay, Boi-1da, Rogét Chahayed, and Vinylz. The release follows Fridayy’s previous success with the album ‘Some Days I’m Good, Some Days I’m Not’ and his four Grammy nominations.
