Friedberg to transform former bowling center into cultural hub

A new cultural and community center is being established in the former bowling center in Friedberg, Germany. Following the granting of building permits, extensive renovation work is set to begin.

Managed by the non-profit Kulturpark West, the site is expected to open by spring 2027. The facility will feature a 220-square-meter event hall capable of hosting up to 199 people for various activities, including club events, private celebrations, workshops, and exhibitions.

Additionally, the site will include an 80-square-meter cultural pub operated by KUKI e. V., which will serve as a meeting point for local scene culture. The venue will also feature a small beer garden on a southern terrace, operating from Thursday to Sunday.
