Berlin Rave The Planet parade to include A100 highway protest
The Rave The Planet parade, a successor to the legendary Loveparade, is scheduled to take place in Berlin on August 15, 2026. Under the motto ‘IMAGINE LOVE’, the event will move through the Tiergarten between the Brandenburg Gate and the Victory Column.
This fifth edition of the techno demonstration serves as a cultural-political protest. For the first time, organizers have included a formal demand to halt the expansion of the A100 city highway, arguing that such infrastructure projects come at the expense of contemporary club culture.
The event follows a period of heightened security concerns in Berlin after an attack during a Christopher Street Day event three weeks prior. Organizers, including co-founder Ellen Dosch-Roeingh, have worked closely with the Berlin police to refine the safety concept. The parade is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of participants and will be broadcast live by Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB).
