Friederike Kempter stars in new ZDFneo mockumentary series

The ZDFneo series ‘Nine to Five – Das Amt’ features Friederike Kempter in the role of Ronja Keller, a new manager at a fictional Berlin citizen service office (Bürgeramt). Described as a female counterpart to the ‘Stromberg’ style of horror-boss character, Ronja utilizes private-sector skills and various tricks rather than genuine work to advance her career.

The eight-part workplace mockumentary is based on characters created by Tülin Sezgin, who also appears in the series as the canteen manager, Hanni. The show follows a team including Conny, who applied for the management position, and several other employees navigating office dynamics. The series is scheduled to air weekly in double episodes on ZDFneo starting October 27.
