Friends with Denim hosts sustainable fashion pop-ups in Redwood City

Friends with Denim, a curated secondhand fashion pop-up organization, is hosting ongoing public sales on the Peninsula to promote sustainable shopping. Co-founded by Redwood City residents Rachelle Egan and Lisa Janny, the initiative aims to keep clothing in circulation and out of landfills.

The project evolved from local clothing swaps organized by the founders after meeting at a yoga studio. Following their first public sale in August 2024 at The Yard Coffee in downtown Redwood City, the organization has transitioned into a monthly series of weekend events featuring multiple vendors.
