Frieren: Beyond Journey's End celebrates 3rd anniversary and confirms Season 3

The anime series ‘Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End’ is celebrating its third anniversary since its initial September 2023 debut. To mark the occasion, production studio Madhouse released a commemorative illustration featuring the main characters—Frieren, Fern, and Stark—celebrating with a massive hamburger. The artwork includes a symbolic reflection in a window showing the original Hero Party, highlighting the series' themes of generational contrast.

In conjunction with the anniversary, official announcements have reinforced that the third season, which will adapt the ‘Golden Land Arc’, is scheduled to premiere in October 2027. A countdown illustration project featuring various animation staff members has also been launched to build anticipation for the upcoming season.

Additionally, the franchise is expanding its reach with a concert tour that includes a stop at Carnegie Hall in New York, as part of its international presence.
