Friuli DOC event features historical train service and music festival

The Friuli DOC event in Udine will feature several cultural and logistical highlights. On September 12, 2026, a historical train service will operate to facilitate travel to the event, running from Trieste to Udine with stops in Monfalcone and Gorizia. Round-trip tickets for adults are priced at 10 euros, with discounted rates for children aged 4 to 12, and free travel for children under 4.

Additionally, the Festival della Canzone Friulana is returning to the main stage of Piazza Libertà in Udine on September 10. After a six-year hiatus, the 32nd edition of Friuli DOC will host the festival's final, featuring fifteen original songs performed live with an orchestra directed by Rudy Fantin. The competition follows a selection process from approximately fifty submitted entries, showcasing contemporary Friulian musical production.
