Pordenone is set to serve as the Italian Capital of Culture in 2027, with a program already planning over 100 local initiatives designed to engage both the city and the wider provincial territory.

In February 2027, Trieste will host Connect Aviation, an international forum dedicated to the development of air routes. The event aims to bring together industry operators and tourism representatives to expand regional accessibility, specifically highlighting the strategic role of Trieste Airport in strengthening international links.
