Friuli Venezia Giulia Governor praises Motostaffetta Friulana volunteers

Massimiliano Fedriga, the Governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia, has recognized the Motostaffetta Friulana for its essential role in the region's volunteer and civil protection systems. During a meeting in Udine, Fedriga highlighted the organization's 25-year history of providing logistical support for major sporting events, such as the Giro d'Italia, as well as its contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Governor praised the volunteers for their ability to support the healthcare system and assist vulnerable citizens during the crisis. He noted that Friuli Venezia Giulia maintains one of the highest percentages of volunteers, reflecting a strong community spirit capable of managing complex international events and responding to regional difficulties.
