Färjestad BK defeats Djurgården 4–0 in SHL rivalry match

Färjestad BK secured a 4–0 victory against Djurgården Hockey in a rivalry match held at the Avicii Arena. The win continues a strong start to the season for Färjestad, who have conceded only four goals in their first five matches while scoring 20.

During the second period, Per Åslund scored a goal that initially caused confusion when the puck appeared to hit the crossbar and bounce out. However, replays confirmed the puck hit the inner rim and entered the net. Åslund, the league's oldest player at 40, also scored a fourth goal into an empty net.

Despite the attendance of 11,840 spectators, the home crowd for Djurgården began leaving the arena in large numbers during the final minutes of the game.
