Frölunda HC targets half homegrown roster, signs Linus Nässén
Frölunda HC announced a strategy to have 50 % of its squad composed of players developed within the club. Sport director Fredrik Sjöström said the aim is to keep the team’s core home‑grown.
The club has signed centre Linus Nässén on a short‑term contract that runs until the start of the SHL season, with the possibility of a longer deal if he performs well. Injuries are affecting the preseason roster: Max Lindholm will miss the opening games with a foot injury, while forwards Erik Thorell and Noah Hasa are also sidelined.
Frölunda continues to recruit and retain talent from its own youth system as part of its long‑term plan.
