Frode Aronsson transfers from IF Elfsborg to Esbjerg fB

Swedish football club IF Elfsborg has reached an agreement with Danish side Esbjerg fB for the transfer of defender Frode Aronsson.

Aronsson, 20, joined IF Elfsborg in the summer of 2021, progressing through the club’s U17 team to the senior squad. During his five years with the club, he made 20 competitive appearances and recently scored his first senior goal in a Swedish Cup qualifying match against Västra Frölunda.

Manager Björn Hamberg praised Aronsson’s attitude in training and matches, noting he was a well-liked member of the group. Aronsson stated that while he is excited about the new challenge in Denmark, leaving the club where he has spent many years is difficult.
