FromSoftware conducts network test for The Duskbloods

FromSoftware recently conducted a closed network test for its upcoming multiplayer action game, The Duskbloods. The title is expected to be a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, featuring a PvPvE gameplay model where eight players compete across multiple rounds.

During the test, players could choose from several characters, such as Albert, Zork, and Senator Samir Patres, each possessing unique melee and ranged weapon combinations. The gameplay involves leveling up during rounds by defeating mini-bosses and larger enemies to acquire upgrades, including health boosts and new Bloodsworn abilities. While the experience includes multiple tutorials to navigate its complex mechanics, the game maintains the developer's signature style of leaving much for players to discover through exploration.
