FromSoftware delays The Duskbloods to 2027
FromSoftware has officially announced that its upcoming multiplayer action title, The Duskbloods, has been delayed from its original 2026 release window to 2027. The game is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive.
The studio stated that development has reached the “final adjustment stage,” but the decision to postpone was driven by feedback from a network test conducted in August. Developers noted significant player interest in the game’s core concepts, specifically its combat, strategic depth, and player expression. To improve these elements, the team requires additional time to refine game rules and overall balancing.
Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, The Duskbloods is a PvPvE experience where up to eight players compete for supremacy. While a specific release date or month in 2027 has not yet been confirmed, the studio apologized to fans for the delay and expressed gratitude for their continued patience and support.
