FromSoftware's The Duskbloods leaks gameplay and character classes

Ahead of the upcoming closed beta for The Duskbloods, a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive from FromSoftware, significant gameplay and character details have leaked online.

Leaked footage, reportedly released prematurely by a Taiwanese outlet, showcases fast-paced PvPvE combat. The video features a climactic battle in an arena called Moon Blood Bestowal, where three remaining players fight for victory amidst environmental hazards and AI-controlled bosses. The gameplay appears more kinetic than previous titles, featuring aerial attacks, double jumps, and character transformations, such as turning into a velociraptor.

Datamined information has also revealed details regarding the game’s 14 character classes. These include unique archetypes like the Blood-Eater, the Guillotine, and the Foul-Rot, each possessing distinct abilities and lore.

The closed network test is scheduled to run from August 21 to August 24, 2026, allowing selected players to download the beta via the Nintendo eShop. While The Duskbloods is expected to launch in 2026, the technical optimization seen in recent Elden Ring ports to the Switch 2 hardware suggests high performance expectations for the new title.
